STEP 2 – Comprehensive Assessment – No Charge

We conduct an assessment of your current situation. At a minimum, our assessment includes a review of your current iSeries/AS400 configuration and serial number (your rack configuration), OS400 version, a listing of your licensed software, your production workloads, key peripheral and connectivity issues, current system backup and recovery strategy, and related technologies.

STEP 3 – Analysis and Cloud400 Strategy

Our Cloud400 OS400 Fanatics analyze your assessment to develop a Cloud400 strategy.As required, we will review your needs to migrate to V5R4, V6R1 or higher, performance modeling, and Logical Partition (LPAR) strategies and design.

Now you put us to the test to make sure Cloud400 is right for you. And you don’t have to spend a dime until you are satisfied.

Here’s what we do next:

1. We set up a Cloud400 virtual server for you and assign a static IP.
2. We work with you to configure your firewalls for site to site VPN connections in the locations you want.
3. We help you set up any additional individual VPN connections you require.
4. You supply the assigned static IP to all individuals participating in the testing so they can create an additional Client Access session
5. You send us a full system save from your server, and we install it on your Cloud400 virtual server
6. You test your Cloud400 virtual server by running your normal operations, printouts, batch jobs, and the like in a test environment for 60 days.
7. During this process, we work to resolve any issues that may arise.

STEP 7 – Cloud400 Go Live

Once you are fully satisfied with the solution, you send us another Full System Save. We reload your Cloud400 virtual server with the up to date data and bring it online. All of your users now point their Client Access sessions at the new IP address and start production operations on your Cloud400 virtual server.
